- Champagne Belle Èpoque 2015 By Fernando Laposse, Perrier-Jouët

It's difficult not to fall in love with this limited edition created by Fernando Laposse, Mexican artist and designer, for Perrier-Jouët: a true hymn to nature, a creation that aims to capture the fleeting moment of pollination in the vineyards, celebrating their life cycle. The elements represented on the Perrier-Jouët Ecobox contain the essence of Champagne Belle Epoque 2015, in which the pollen recalls the pale and luminous gold color of the cuvée, the flowers recall the delicate aromas and its freshness, and the dancing pollinators the liveliness of the wine on the palate. Perfect as a gift, it will be spectacular on your table on Christmas Day. Fruit of the exceptional 2015 vintage, Champagne Belle Èpoque by Perrier-Jouët reveals all its essence in the blend of Chardonnay (50%) from the Côte des Blancs vineyards, Pinot Noir (45%) and Meunier (5%) for a delicate and harmonious cuvée, which blends freshness, acidity and balance.

- Champagne Extra Brut Cuvée Des Jean V.19, Jean Jossellin

News in GLUGULP!, Jean Josselin Champagnes are a pleasant discovery, especially for those who love harmonious, soft and rounded Champagnes. We are located in Gyé-sur-Seine, a village in the Barséquanais, in the Côte des Bar, with vineyards divided into 14 parcels and managed according to sustainable viticulture practices (the Domaine is Terra Vitis certified) among paths, woods and valleys that support development of biodiversity. The Champagne Cuvée des Jean, a tribute to Jean Josselin who founded the company in 1957, is a pure Pinot Noir from the 2019 harvest (70%), with the addition of "vin de réserve perpétuelle" (30%), with aging on its own yeasts for over 24 months before the final dosage of 3.5 g/l. A Blanc de Noirs mix of liveliness, vinosity and fruity freshness that will pair perfectly with your holiday aperitifs.

- Champagne Brut Nature Millésime 2012, Prophète Yann

We remain in the Côte des Bar with another GLUGULP! new entry not to be missed. We present to you a preview of Yann Prophète. Vigneron in Landreville, Yann is the custodian of an exclusive knowledge made up of customs and traditions handed down to him by his grandfather, a former wine producer, from whom he also inherited the old Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines which he cultivates according to the principles of organic viticulture. High quality standards, rigorous selection of grapes, long aging on the yeasts of at least eight years and an exclusive limited edition of a few thousand bottles: these are the peculiarities of Yann Prophète. The Champagne Millésime 2012, 100% Chardonnay, ferments and ages in fût de chêne and rests in Yann's cellar dating back to the 19th century. Produced for only 1394 bottles and 50 Magnums, it is a Champagne that will not disappoint those looking for unconventional labels and will amaze even guests with the most demanding palate.

- Champagne Coeur Saphyr, Augustin

If you are a fan of Meunier, these holidays can be the ideal opportunity to try something new like Champagne Coeur Saphyr, another new product available on GLUGULP! Whether it is a family lunch or an aperitif with friends, this Blanc de Meunier will surprise everyone with its liveliness and its characteristic aromatic bouquet. From the vineyards of Avenay Val d'Or in the Vallée de la Marne, Augustin's Champagnes are produced according to the concept of "cardioviticulture", that is cultivating with the heart, which summarizes with great sensitivity the philosophy of the Domaine based on listening to nature. Maximum care in the elaboration of the wines with the aim of creating cuvées without artifices: the grapes are not filtered to preserve all their character, no chaptalisation, no refrigeration, no addition of yeasts and malolactic fermentation is not carried out.

- Champagne Extra Brut Clos De Goisses 2012, Philipponnat

In the Vallée de la Marne, the prestigious Clos des Goisses extends over 5.8 hectares of vineyards planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on a 45 degree slope, the steepest among the Clos of Champagne, with chalk soils and southern exposure. Manual and rigorous management of the parcels, each vintage of Clos des Goisses is the result of a rigorous selection of the best grapes from excellent vineyards. Have you already tried the Champagne Clos de Goisses 2012 from Maison Philipponnat? The 2012 harvest, although small in terms of quantity, was qualitatively excellent and left a magnificent promise: acidity and balanced tension between freshness and generosity. The Champagne Clos de Goisses 2012 with a refinement for over 8 years on the yeasts does not disappoint this commitment: it is a very elegant Champagne resulting from the blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a magnificent aromatic richness and a creamy, lively, fresh palate with a long and mineral. A real pleasure.
