With 15 hectares of vineyards distributed throughout the Region, including some of the most renowned Grand Crus and Premier Crus, Maison Lallier boasts an exceptional viticultural heritage that allows to access to a remarkable variety of terroirs which give complexity and character to its Champagnes.

The Lallier Champagne collection – Millésimé

Lallier's Millésimé Champagnes are an extraordinary collection of wines produced exclusively with grapes from a single harvest year, carefully selected from the best vineyards. Each Lallier Millésimé contains the excellence of selections of magnificent Grands Crus, including Verzenay, Bouzy, Ambonnay, in the Montagne de Reims, Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Oger in the Cote des Blancs and Aÿ in the Marne Valley.

Millésimé Champagnes embody the peculiarities of each vintage, reflecting the climatic conditions and the essence of the terroir of the year of production, capturing the nuances that make each vintage distinctive and unrepeatable.

Balance between purity, intensity, freshness and depth; this is the characteristic style of the Maison which has launched nine Millésimé since 1999, each with its own distinct identity but united by that coherence and elegance which are the unmistakable characteristics of the Lallier brand.

Elegance and Mastery: Champagne Millésimé 2014

lallier-magazine-2.jpgChampagne Millésimé 2014 by Lallier is the result of the skilful blend of 73% Pinot Noir and 27% Chardonnay, from grapes from six Grands Crus vineyards of the region distributed in Cramant, Avize and Oger in the Côte des Blancs, in Ambonnay and Verzenay in the Montagne de Reims and in Aÿ in the Valle de la Marne.

An extraordinary revelation of the Lallier style which is expressed through the best grapes of the 2014 harvest, a fluctuating year which however ended discreetly in terms of quantity and which allowed a careful selection to be carried out in the cellar.

Long refinement of at least 7 years before dégorgement and dosage of 8 g/L (Brut) for this Champagne which rests in the cellars of the Maison at least 6 months before marketing, thus guaranteeing maturation and harmony of the aromas for an impeccable taste experience.

With intense golden reflections, the Champagne Millésimé 2014 stands out for its exclusive aromatic profile. The nose opens with an inviting bouquet of candied citrus fruits that blend elegantly with the enveloping notes of chestnut honey, enriched by subtle spicy notes and delicate truffle hints on the finish. The palate reveals a vibrant precision and liveliness that captures, while its length, depth and persistence dominate the tasting experience. Finally, the light chalky touch enriches and emphasizes the complexity of this extraordinary Champagne.

A warm and sunny August played a decisive role, preventing the formation of mold and ensuring perfect ripening of the grapes, which were characterized by a surprising balance between freshness and generosity. This vintage, although capricious, proved to be an exceptional promise, confirmed over time, offering wines of great value and longevity.

The Champagne Millésimé 2012 embodies the excellence of this unforgettable harvest, testimony to the mastery and expert work of the Maison Lallier. A blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay grapes from the vineyards of eight Grand Crus such as Verzenay, Bouzy, Ambonnay, in the Montagne de Reims, Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Oger in the Côte des Blancs and Aÿ in the Vallé de la Marne. The long refinement of at least 7 years before dégorgement and the dosage of 7 g/L (Brut) give this Champagne extraordinary depth and complexity, where the aromas blend into a perfectly balanced and engaging whole.

With an intense golden color with nuanced amber tones, the Champagne Millésimé 2012 presents itself on the nose with enveloping notes of dried fruit, toasted almonds and a touch of candied ginger. The elegance of the 2012 harvest is manifested in the nuances of ripe fruit that delicately emerge. On the palate it is powerful, structured and enveloping, with a density that underlines its distinctive character. Its persistent finish is enriched by a velvety consistency, enhanced by a subtle freshness that invites a final sip.
