In 1858, in honour of the Dutch royal family, the Cuvée Princes was launched, which is still produced today in an elegant bottle representing the decanters used at the time by the European aristocracy to serve Champagne. In 2005, the Cuvée de Prestige "Louis XV" was launched, in honour of the King who did so much for Champagne. On 25 May 1728, King Louis XV issued a decree allowing only Champagne wines to be shipped and sold in bottles, marking the birth of Champagne as we know it today.
