The Champagne Les Terres Fines by Dhondt-Grellet is a Blanc de Blancs, produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes from vineyards located in the village of Cuis, in the Côte des Blancs, one of the most renowned areas for the production of Champagne Blanc de Blancs. This Champagne expresses the elegance and finesse typical of the Chardonnay grapes cultivated on chalky soils that give the wine a particular minerality. The result of a blend composed of 70% grapes from the 2021 harvest and 30% from réserve perpétuelle initiated in 1986, with vinification in wooden barrels that honours the traditions of the terroir. The wine reaches an extremely low final dosage of only 1 g/L - making it an Extra Brut.

The Champagne Les Terres Fines offers a complex bouquet of aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus fruits, white flowers, and light notes of yeast and butter, resulting from contact with yeast. On the palate it is elegant, with a lively acidity that balances the creaminess and a long persistence that expresses all the freshness and minerality of the terroir.

Champagne Adrien Dhondt-Grellet

The Domaine Dhondt-Grellet is located in Flavigny near Avize, in the heart of the prestigious Côte des Blancs. About six hectares of property, with vineyards with an average age of about forty years, classified mainly Grand Cru and Premier Cru. In 1986, Eric Dhondt and Edith Grellet decided to stop selling grapes to the Negociants and found Dhondt-Grellet. Adrien, Eric and Edith's son, at the age of 25, has taken over the winemaking business and is rapidly taking his family's Champagnes to another level. It has slowly increased the range of Champagnes produced through its own parcels (lieu-dit) in the villages of Cramant and Cuis, pure expression of Chardonnay. Each Champagne made represents the best of its original Terroir.
